SIAG-FME & Bachelier Finance Society

The starting point
makes a difference

The mentoring programme provides an engaging platform for early-career researchers in financial mathematics and engineering. Experienced mentors actively interact with interested mentees, offering guidance on research development, career advancement, grant opportunities, and other professional challenges.

It is particularly designed for early-career researchers from institutions with limited research resources or underserved communities. Participants gain insight from leaders in the field, receive personalised advice, and expand their academic network—building confidence, resilience, and a sense of support in the early stages of an academic career.

Researchers who earned their doctorate within the past six years, or are in the final year of doctoral studies, are invited to participate. Building on a successful pilot at SIAM FM21, the programme is officially supported by SIAG-FME and the Bachelier Finance Society.

Everyone interested is warmly invited to upcoming Zoom meetings announced on this site, for programme details and one-to-one discussions.
